Stephen M. Hershowitz, M.D.

Neuroradiologist

 

Dr. Stephen M. Hershowitz is a board-certified radiologist with added qualifications in neuroradiology.  

After completing his undergraduate studies at the State University of New York at Binghamton in 1978, Dr. Hershowitz earned his M.D. degree at State University of New York at Buffalo (1978-1982).  Following his internship at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, New York (1982-1983), Dr. Hershowitz completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at Cornell-North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, NY (1983-1986).           

Dr. Hershowitz completed his fellowship as instructor in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology, Neuroradiology Section, at the University of Maryland Medical System Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland (1986-1987)          

In 1986 Dr. Hershowitz was granted the title of Diplomate of the American Board of Radiology and obtained added qualifications in neuroradiology in 1995 and 2005.
